web interaction theory ?

been playing around a lot of that been browsing sites a lot too there a lot of really interesting ways people work in this format and i like want to expand the way i use my own website, i think currently my main focus has been the scroll of the main page as well as occassionally the photos section and then like diary entries ill link to some gifs it just feels pretty flat right now like i need some new elements. ive been linking cool sites on a link page but i actually want to start to link them more to gifs i want the gifs to have more random interesting links. i want to create maybe a page of scans of random things in my room that could be fun. someinteresting things ive encountered while browsing is like stories that are progressed through clicking certain links whethter its like you can decide what happens next or its just something the website takes you on. there was a wonderful page that did that that i really enjpyed the format i think the thing i enjoyed most was there were different segments and at the end of the segment it listed the links for the other segments and the option to take you home as well. i really love a self contained site a minimal self contained site is actually criminally underrated to me. i started working on this site with the idea of it being an expanding universe that branches out to other universe to create an infinite browsing experience but lately ive been enjoying minimal pages that include something unique in itself that you can tell the creator just has their own personal interest in. one thing i cannot stand is a site that only uses very basic guts of a personal webpage and ddoes not attempt at their own personal expansion of the concept. i also like a personal webpage that is extremely attended to that really deeply encompasses a life- somewhat controversial nsfw site- or an artist who has a large body of work online ( dig around on here find the person who did yvette's portrait, they also designed the site) i always love someone who does their own research and reports about it on their page. or a really well curated list of links to other sites i guess maybe as i browse i think more of like web experience theory or whatever. as an interactive medium what are all the ways one can participate? how do these come about? what makes a certain interaction more hard hitting than others? what is done to death in the web experience? ill think about this more as i browse-
